Joel Egan is an Australian based freelance DP, Cinematographer and Filmmaker with strong roots to his home town of Phillip Island. Currently, Joel is available for freelance DP bookings across Commercials, Music Videos & Narrative.

As a passionate filmmaker with strong visual thinking, and an end-to-end multidisciplinary hands on skill set, Joel is known for his ability to execute high concept ideas and campaigns that elevate the work.

Pushing the boundaries to what’s possible, shared experiences with collaborators, and exploring narratively lead projects through cinematography and camera operating is what inspires Joel everyday.
